Lee W. Parry Sr.

CORNISH — Lee W. Parry Sr., 45, of Whitewater Brook Road in Cornish, died Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Barnet, Vt., due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born Oct. 6, 1966, in Claremont, the son of Wayne and Betty Ann (LaPlante) and had been a lifetime area resident. He was a graduate of Stevens High School, Class of 1985. Lee was employed as a service technician by Vermont Mechanical Corporation. He had also worked for ARC Mechanical for 23 years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, racing, working on cars and had restored a John Deere tractor for his grandson Braeden, whom he loved spending time with. He also cherished the time that he spent with his family and friends.

Members of his family include his wife, Christine (Mills) Parry, whom he married Aug. 30, 1986; a son, Lee “LJ” W. Parry Jr. and his girlfriend, Gwen Palmer, of Charlestown; a daughter, Danielle Parry and her fiancé, Joshua Pignatiello of Claremont; a grandson, Braeden Parry; his father, Wayne Parry of Claremont; two brothers, Lyle Parry and his girlfriend, Kelly Patterson of Claremont and Daniel Parry of Windsor; three sisters, Judith DiPadova and her husband, Anthony Jr., of Claremont, Debra Craigue and her husband, Arnold, of Claremont and Lauren Parry of Ascutney; his stepfather, Peter Thibedau of Claremont; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Betty Ann Thibedau, who died April 18, 2010.

Friends may call at from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at the Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan St., in Claremont. Burial will follow in Edminster Cemetery in Cornish.

Following the burial, the family will be hosting a reception at the home of Lee and Christine on Whitewater Brook Road in Cornish.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Justin Aiken-Robin Flaig Scholarship Fund, c/o Claremont School District, 165 Broad St., Claremont, NH 03743.
