Dingleton Hill bridge damaged for third time in 12 months

(Photo courtesy of the Cornish Police Department)CORNISH — Cornish Police say for the third time in 12 months, a motorist has damaged the Dingleton Hill Covered Bridge in Cornish.
According to a Cornish Police Department press release, on Monday afternoon, a motorist damaged the bridge on the Town House Road side of the bridge.  
The motorist was traveling from Root Hill toward Townhouse Road. Witnesses describe a full-size white pickup truck, described as having landscaping company markings on the side, towing a trailer with a generator type item and several large tall pieces of wood that went through the Dingleton Hill Covered Bridge around 1:30 p.m.
Police believe this is the suspect vehicle. The suspect vehicle was traveling from Mill Village Road to Root Hill Road and across the bridge.
