Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017
12:18 p.m.: Officer responded to a report of an erratic driver. The officer located the vehicle and it was found the driver was tired.
2:43 p.m.: Fire and Police responded to an assisted living facility for a reported fire alarm going off. The building was checked and it was found to be a faulty alarm.
3:47 p.m.: Officer assisted state police with a motor vehicle stop on Claremont Road.
10:30 p.m.: Officer responded to a report of an explosion and loud bangs somewhere in the area of Hackett Swamp Road and Acworth Road. The officer checked the area with nothing seen or heard.
Monday, Jan. 30, 2017
8:10 a.m.: Officer responded to a report of damage done to Whelen Engineering’s fence. Video was shown of juveniles sliding into the fence and breaking it.
9:43 a.m.: Officer responded to a report of theft of medication from the package he received from the post office. There was a tag on the package from the post office advising the package was not sealed.
5:08 p.m.: Police, Fire and Ambulance responded to a one vehicle accident on Sullivan Street, car into a tree. No injuries were reported and the driver was given a courtesy ride to her residence. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017
2:58 a.m.: Officer responded to a River Road business for an alarm. The officer found employee vehicles on the scene and the buildings were secure.
11:10 a.m.: Officer responded to Jiffy Mart for a report of juveniles drinking behind the store that was on video from the previous day. The manager confronted the juveniles who ran off.
3:45 p.m.: Officer checked on a disabled garbage truck on the Claremont Road. Tow truck on the scene.
4:15 p.m.: Motor vehicle stop on Claremont Road. The driver was arrested for multiple violations including driving after suspension. The driver was bailed and released with a summons to appear in court.
7:48 p.m.: Officer responded to a reported vehicle off the road on Hackett Swamp Road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was pulled back onto the road by a friend with no damage.
Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017
12:38 a.m.: Motor vehicle stop on Claremont Road. The driver was issued a citation for speed.
5:53 a.m.: Police, Ambulance and Fire responded to a 46-year-old female not breathing.
10:05 a.m.: Officer assisted a subject with a civil stand.
10:31 a.m.: Ambulance responded to an 87-year-old female who had fallen with a shoulder injury. The patient was transported to the hospital.
4:59pm – Report taken of a theft of wood from a resident’s property on Acworth Road.
Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017
2:30 a.m.: Officer checked on two vehicles at a vacant business that also had a light on inside. The vehicles were cold to the touch and the building was secure.
9:22 a.m.: Officer responded to the middle school for a child that acted out then left the building and was sitting on the steps. The officer spoke with child who went back into the school.
3:10 p.m.: Motor vehicle stop on Main Street. The driver was issued a citation for uninspected vehicle.
4:19 p.m.: Subject came into the police department to turn himself in on a warrant. The subject was issued a summons to appear in court.
4:34 p.m.: Police, fire and ambulance responded to a two vehicle accident on Bellows Falls Road. One patient was transported to the hospital and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
6:11 p.m.: Officer checked on a vehicle with its lights on at an area auto sales business. It was found to be workers leaving.

5:46 a.m.: Officer responded to a report of a residents neighbor’s dog coming onto his porch and biting his dog.
7:08 a.m.: Motor vehicle stop on Claremont Road. The driver was issued a citation for speed.
12:33 p.m.: Officer responded to check the welfare of a resident whose medical alarm went off with negative contact. The subject all set.
12:40 p.m.: Fire command responded to a report of a fire alarm going off. It was found to be a malfunction with the alarm.
2:58 p.m.: Officer responded to a report of a subject climbing up a ladder into a residence with no vehicles in the driveway. The officer found it was a juvenile who had locked himself out the home.
5:31 p.m.: Fire and police responded to a carbon monoxide alarm going off in a residence. It was found to be a faulty alarm.
6:25 p.m.: Motor vehicle stop on Lower Lovers Lane Road. The driver was issued a citation for speed.
10:17 p.m.: Officers gave a courtesy ride to an intoxicated subject yelling coming out of a local business. The subject was placed in the care of his father.
10:41 p.m.: Officer saw a vehicle that was being driven by an intoxicated person from a previous incident. The vehicle almost side swiped a trooper and was driving a high rate on speed on Main Street. The vehicle was located at the subject’s home into a tree. The subject was arrested and transported to the House of Corrections.
11:41 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a deer on North Hemlock Road. No injuries were reported and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017
12:05 a.m.: Officer checked on a vehicle parked on the side of the road on Claremont Road.
1:07 a.m.: Officer responded to a report of subjects hanging around at a vacant home on Northwest Street. There was negative contact with anyone.
3:55 a.m.: Officer responded to a report of a business alarm going off on Main Street. The building was checked with nothing out of the ordinary found.
11:56 a.m.: Officer removed a bumper from Meadow Road.
1:35 p.m.: Officer spoke with subject reference an incident that happened with the subjects soon to be ex-husband.
2:32 p.m.: Officer responded to a report of an erratic driver on River Road. The Officer located the vehicle and found the driver kept looking her gage due to the vehicle having an issue with overheating.
8:52 p.m.: Officer arrested a subject on a warrant. The subject was bailed and released with a summons to appear in court. He was also issued a no trespass order.
9:10 p.m.: Officer checked the welfare of a subject who was reported to have threatened suicide. The subject was fine.
