VSP find 1,418 bags of heroin after 1-91 traffic stop

Logan DupuisLogan DupuisTravis PelletierTravis PelletierClair DeslandesClair DeslandesHARTFORD — Three Island Pond, Vermont men were arrested in Hartford on Thursday for heroin trafficking after troopers found 1,418 bags of heroin in a car after a traffic stop.

The Vermont Drug Task Force conducted a heroin investigation in Essex County, Vermont. As a result of the investigation, Vermont State Troopers stopped a motorist at 6:45 p.m. on Interstate 91 in Hartford.


During the traffic stop, Troopers identified the occupants of the car as Clair Deslandes, 58; Travis Pelletier, 27; and Logan Dupuis, 20. A search of the car led to the discovery of 1,418 bags of heroin in the car.


Deslandes, Pelletier and Dupuis were arrested, processed at VSP Royalton, and lodged at Southern State Correctional in lieu of $5,000 bail each. They were scheduled to be arraigned in Windsor Superior Court today.

In 2015 there were over

In 2015 there were over 47,000 drug deaths in this country. In 2016 there were over 52,000 drug deaths. But not one execution for drug dealing in either year. When king pins, middle men and dealers are executed I will believe the issue is being taken seriously. Until then - Meh..... It's all just feel-good political correctness and a waste of taxpayer money because it will just keep going on and on and on and on.....
