Bellows Falls man arrested for gas station burglaries

Jason Robison, 42, was arrested Wednesday by Vermont State Police in Westminster and has been charged with petit larceny for his alleged involvement in a theft of cash from the Dummerston Exit 4 Sunoco on April 19. His alleged conspirator in the case, Justin Clouart, had previously been arrested for his involvement, according to police.


Robison has also been charged with burglary, unlawful mischief, unlawful trespass and grand larceny for allegedly breaking into the Exit 6 Sunoco gas station in Rockingham in November 2016. Police have accused robison of smashing the glass door into the gas station and stealing numerous cartons of cigarettes, with a value exceeding $1,000.


Judge Katherine Hayes set bail at $10,000, and Robison was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.
