Bellows Falls man caught with $15,000 worth of drugs

Bellows Falls Police Department K9 Caesar Bellows Falls Police Department K9 Caesar BELLOWS FALLS — A 23-year-old Bellows Falls man was arrested Tuesday after Bellows Falls Police officers located drugs in his car with a street value in the area of $15,000.

Joshua K. Williams was stopped by Bellows Falls Police at 11:35 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, on Westminster Street in Bellows Falls. During the course of the investigation, K9 Caesar was deployed around the car and gave a positive alert for the presence of drug odors. The car was seized pending the application of a search warrant. 

On Monday, Sept. 11, Bellows Falls Police were granted the search warrant and executed it soon after on Williams’ car. Officers located approximately 1,000 glassine bags of suspected heroin and over one ounce of suspected crack cocaine. The total street value for the drugs seized is approximately $15,000.

Williams was arrested Tuesday at the Bellows Falls Police Department. He was ordered held on $5,000 cash or surety bond with conditions. Williams was issued a citation to appear at a later date and was transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility.
