NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending April 13:

Nickolas M. Elhardt, 27, 129 Laurel St., Newport, pleaded guilty to operating with a suspended vehicle registration Jan. 14 in Newport and was fined $250. He pleaded no contest to disobeying an officer Feb. 23 in Newport, was found guilty and given a suspended 30-day sentence to the Sullivan County House of Corrections. A charge of driving after revocation/suspension was withdrawn.

Two charges of criminal threatening July 2 in Unity against William N. Clark, 45, 992 2nd New Hampshire Turnpike, Unity were withdrawn.

A charge of simple assault (physical contact) March 7 in Lempster against Gretchen M. Hall, 20, 1321 Route 10, Lempster, was withdrawn.

An administrative finding of guilty was handed down for speeding 63 mph in a 40 mph zone June 13 in Croydon against Austin S. Abair, Springfield, N.H., and he was fined $200.

Pete J. Marcus, 59, 84 Winter St., Apartment B, Newport, pleaded guilty to reckless driving Feb. 6 in Newport, was fined $500 and his license was revoked for 60 days. A charge of driving under the influence was withdrawn.

Benjamin L. Fuchs, 39, 193 Route 103, Newbury, pleaded guilty to reckless driving Jan 12 in Sunapee, was fined $500 with $250 suspended and his license was revoked for 60 days. He pleaded guilty to driving without a valid license and was fined $50.

Conrad Kohrs, 59, 59 Main St., Apt. 1, Sunapee, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation or suspension Jan. 30 in Sunapee and was fined $250. He pleaded innocent to driving with a suspended registration and the charge was placed on file without a finding.

Frederick A. Brown, 86, 40 Pinnacle Road, Croydon, pleaded guilty to negligent driving Jan. 9 in Croydon and was fined $250.

Donald W. Winans, 41, 655 State St., Apartment 204, Windsor, pleaded innocent to conduct after an accident Dec. 31 in Grantham, was found guilty and fined $250. His privilege to operate in New Hampshire was revoked for one year and that count was held in abeyance for one year.
