NEWPORT — Taylor C. Come, 21, 147 South Main St., Newport, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief July 8 in Newport and was fined $500, suspended for one year on good behavior. He was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $300.

Dylan M. Miller, 23, 37 Cross Hill Road, Wilmot, pleaded no contest to a charge of driving under the influence of drugs or liquor June 21 in New London, was found guilty, fined $500 and his license revoked for nine months. Charges of speeding 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, operating to the left of a double yellow solid line and transportation of alcoholic beverages were all withdrawn.

Brian R. LaClair, 60, pleaded innocent to change of registration information, duty to inform, and the charge was placed on file without a finding.

Thadius B. Nye, 33, 15 Beech St., Apartment C, Newport, failed to appear to answer a charge of violation of a protective order July 3 in Newport and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

Christopher Walker, 29, 99 Elm St., Claremont, pleaded no contest to resisting arrest or detention Oct. 29 in Claremont, was found guilty and fined $500, suspended for two years on good behavior. He was also given a 12-month suspended sentence to the Sullivan County House of Corrections. He pleaded no contest to conduct after an accident, was found guilty and fined $500, suspended, and sentenced to12 months in the HOC, suspended. Charges of simple assault, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated were withdrawn.

Samuel W. Buckman, 20, 225 Burpee Hill Road, Grantham, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of intoxicating beverages July 2 in Grantham and was fined $300.

Christopher A. Childers, 39, 1 Emerald Ridge, Newport, pleaded guilty to operating after suspension May 31 in New London and was fined $250.

Edgar I. Deniz Ramirez, 36, 93 North Main St., Newport, pleaded guilty to driving after suspension June 1 in New London and was fined $500.

Amy L. Limoges, 38, 10A Heritage Drive, Claremont, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest/detention Dec. 29 and was sentenced to 60 days in the HOC, suspended.
