NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending Aug. 3:

John R. Lunderville, 56, 342 Bascom Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and was fined $500, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Richie Ayotte 49. 94 Badger Road, Goshen, pleaded innocent to criminal threatening July 19 in Goshen and the charge was placed on file without a finding for one year on good behavior.

Jack O. Barton, 66, 96 Dunbar Hill Road, Grantham, pleaded guilty to simple assault Nov. 15 in Grantham and was fined $500, suspended for one year on good behavior. Another simple assault charge and simple assault with physical contact were withdrawn.

Stanley B. Rossi Jr., 54, 43 Park St., No. 3, Newport, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension March 26 in Newport and was sentenced to 60 days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections with all but seven days suspended for two years on good behavior. He was sentenced to serve seven consecutive 24-hour periods in the HOC and fined $500, suspended for two years on good behavior. A charge of operating with a suspended vehicle registration was withdrawn. A charge of disorderly conduct March 8 was placed on file without a finding for one year on good behavior.
