NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending Aug. 24:

A charge of driving under the influence of drugs or liquor against Cory M. Shinners, 33, 143 Nichols Road, Lempster, was withdrawn.

Kaela L. MacPherson, 29, 3678 Main St., Springfield, N.H., failed to appear to answer charges of criminal trespass, criminal mischief and possession of marijuana, three-quarters of an ounce or less, July 18 in Springfield and the cases were defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Corey Ricker, 32, 69 Spofford St., Apartment 3, Claremont, failed to appear to answer charges of acts prohibited, possession of Cocaine, and resisting arrest or detention May 11, 2017 in Newport.

Thomas F. Canfield, 69, 49 Fairway Drive, Grantham, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated June 1 in New London, was fined $500 and his license revoked for nine months.

Roberta L. Lentz, 55, 48 Laurel St., Apartment 4, Newport, pleaded guilty to conduct after an accident April 17 in Newport and was fined $250.

Richard Gingras, 20, 3 Monarch Lane, Claremont, pleaded guilty to false report to law enforcement July 7, 2018 in Newport and was fined $400, suspended for one year on good behavior, unlawful possession/intoxication while under the age of 21 in Newport, fined $600 and bail jumping Nov 13, 2018 in Newport, fined $400, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Steven Vuletich, 52, 23 Beech St., Newport, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest/detention in Newport and was sentenced to 10 days at the Sullivan County House of Corrections, suspended for one year on good behavior. He pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol concentration, fined $500 and his license was revoked for 12 months.

Chad Tenpas, 42, 40 Spring St., Apartment 2, Newport, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order May 4 in Newport, was fined $500 and sentenced to 30 days in the HOC, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Erica L. Harris, 31, 188 Southgate Road, Newbury, pleaded guilty to driving after suspension March 12 in New London and was fined $250. She pleaded innocent to operating with a suspended registration of a vehicle and speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone and both charges were placed on file without a finding.

Chelsie L. Fellows, 35, 38 Summer St., Apartment 2, Newport, pleaded guilty to change of address (license) and was fined $100. She pleaded guilty to a stop sign, yield sign violation and was fined $50. Fellows pleaded innocent to suspension of vehicle registration and driving after revocation/suspension and both charges were placed on file without a finding.
