NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending July 20:

Matthew J. Craig, 44, 58 State St., Windsor, pleaded guilty to operating with a suspended registration of a vehicle May 14 in Sunapee and was fined $500. A charge of personal possession of marijuana was withdrawn.

Alex F. Menard, 63, 19 Grove St., Newport, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest/detention May 23 in Newport and was sentenced to 90 days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections, suspended on good behavior. A charge of disorderly conduct was withdrawn. He pleaded guilty to stalking—notice of order, March 13 in Newport and was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC, suspended.

A yellow line violation charge Aug. 2 in Newbury against John S. Greenwood, 58, 64 Water St., Bradford, was withdrawn.

Dale E. West, 45, 18 Citizen St., Claremont, failed to appear to answer charges of possession of controlled substances, Methylphenidate and possession of a controlled substance, Buprenorphine, May 29, 2017 in Newport and both cases were defaulted to the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

A charge of driving after revocation or suspension against Robert Sykes, 44, 9 Blood Road, Newport, Oct. 8, 2016 in Newport was withdrawn.

Saige Sherrod. 20, Saxtons River, pleaded no contest to transportation of alcoholic beverages while under the age of 21 May 24 in Newport, was found guilty and fined $300.

Stanley C. Hannum, 44, 9 Chandlers Mill Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to having a dog that was a menace, nuisance or vicious May 28 in Newport and was fined $100.

Connor D. Barkie, 17, 1681 Valley Road, Washington, pleaded no contest to operating to endanger persons while knowingly operating a snowmobile on open waters (skimming) April 13 at Highland Lake in Washington, was found guilty and fined $200.

Jeffrey Williams, 26, 308 Corbin Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct March 21 in Newport and was fined $200, suspended.

Danielle M. Pollari, 41, 13 Summer St., Apartment B, Newport, pleaded guilty to theft by unauthorized taking Sept. 5 at Irving/Circle K, Newport, a four-pack of Charmin toilet paper and a loaf of Canadian white bread with a total value of $13.17. She was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC, all deferred for six months and ordered to make restitution of $13.17. A charge of theft by unauthorized taking Sept. 7 was withdrawn. A charge of theft Nov. 3 was withdrawn. She pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property Nov. 3 in Newport and was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC with all but 60 days suspended. She pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card Nov. 3 and was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC with all but 60 days suspended and ordered to make restitution of $154.65. Pollari also pleaded guilty to theft by unauthorized taking Nov. 21 in Newport, a cellular telephone valued at $930. She was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC with all but 60 days suspended along with restitution of $930. She was given credit for 15 days of pretrial confinement.

Jaznele R. Laroche, 20, 457 Winter St., Claremont, pleaded no contest to simple assault July 13 in Newport and was fined $250, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Tammy W. Standridge, 43, 38 Green Road, Newport, pleaded innocent to disobeying an officer Feb. 19 in Newport and the charge was placed on file without a finding for two years on good behavior. She pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension, was fined $250 suspended, and sentenced to seven consecutive 24-hour periods at the HOC.

William Howard, 54, 177 Sugarhouse Road, New London, pleaded innocent to stalking July 12 and the charge was placed on file without a finding for two years. He pleaded innocent to breach of bail July 12 and the charge was placed on file without a finding for two years. He pleaded innocent to stalking July 13 and the charge was placed on file without a finding for two years. He pleaded guilty to stalking July 13, was sentenced to 365 days in the HOC, given credit for four days of pretrial confinement and 305 days suspended to July 16, 2021.

A charge of operating after suspension April 18 in Newbury against Taylor K. Dunning, 48, 33 Chandler Brook Road, Newbury, was amended to operating without a valid license and Dunning was fined $100. A charge of suspension of registration of a vehicle was withdrawn.
