NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending June 22:

John Simpson, 31, 225 Maple Ave., Claremont, failed to appear to answer charges of displaying a New Hampshire driver’s license to a Newport police officer knowing it was suspended and driving after suspension/revocation April 29 in Newport. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

Damien Sevene, 33, 141 Hanover St., Claremont, failed to appear to answer charges of disobeying a police officer and driving after suspension/revocation Jan 1 in Newport and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

Lagene A. Richardson, 37, 165 South Main St., Apartment 6, Newport, failed to respond to answer a charge of driving after revocation/subsequent April 1 in Newport and a bench warrant was issued for Richardson’s arrest.

Cody Denofrio, 32, 64 Morway’s Park, Charlestown, failed to appear to answer a charge of driving after revocation/suspension April 2 in Newport and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

TJ W. Bressette, 38, 330 Nutting Road, Sunapee, failed to appear to answer an open container charge March 19 in Newport and the charge was defaulted to the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Crystal Willey, 28, Newport, pleaded guilty to bail jumping Dec. 20, 2016 in Newport and was sentenced to 30 days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections, suspended.

Andrew Bonsall, 30, 6 Old Winslow Road, Wilmot, pleaded no contest to operating under the influence of drugs or liquor April 28 in Newbury, was found guilty, fined $500 and his license revoked for nine months. He pleaded innocent to conduct after an accident and the charge was placed on file without a finding for one year on good behavior.

Susie I. Bushway, 61, 17 Sullivan St., Apartment 5, Newport, pleaded guilty to simple assault, physical contact, June 13 in Newport, and was fined $250, suspended.

Mark S. Desrosiers, 60, 17 Sullivan St., Newport, pleaded guilty to simple assault, physical contact, June 13 in Newport and was fined $250, suspended.

Emily MS Charet, 70 Court St., Apartment 2, Newport, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief June 17, was fined $250, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Sarah L. Howard, 34, 84 Canal St., Apartment B, Newport, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct Oct. 22, 2017 in Newport and was fined $250, suspended for six months on good behavior.

David I. Guion, 61, 51 Rowell Hill Road, New London, pleaded innocent to theft of lost or mislaid property Oct. 16 in New London, was found guilty and fined $1,000, suspended for one year on good behavior. He pleaded innocent to breach of bail conditions and the charge was placed on file without a finding.

David August, 52, 148 Maple St., Newport, pleaded innocent to violation of a protective order June 2 in Newport and the charge was placed on file without a finding. He pleaded guilty to a second charge of violation of protective order May 20 and was sentenced to 60 days in the HOC, suspended to June 18, 2020. He was given credit for two days of pretrial confinement.

Kevin M. Scarlett, 56, 181 Shaker St., New London, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs April 8 in Newbury, was fined $500 and his license revoked for nine months.

William M. Howard, 54, 177 Sugar House Road, New London, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension March 6 in New London, was fined $250, sentenced to seven consecutive 24-hour periods in the HOC and his license revoked for one year.

Sally Martin, 38, 11 Blood Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to negligent driving April 2 in Newport and was fined $250.

Christine K. Voss, 49, New London, pleaded no contest to a charge of non-inspection, was found guilty and fined $74.40.

Nathaniel P. Byfield, 31, 40 Village Road, Sutton, pleaded innocent to criminal threatening Jan. 27 in Newbury and the charge was placed on file without a finding.

Kristopher M. Mampe, 19, 16 Apple Hill Road, Sunapee, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension April 21 in Newport and was fined $250.

Douglas Dipesa, 20, 220 South Main St., Newport, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension April 19 in Newport and was fined $250.

Ty Mai, 25, 4 Kyle Drive, Newport, pleaded innocent to negligent driving Nov. 24 in Sunapee, an administrative finding of guilty was handed down and he was fined $250.

A charge of domestic violence against Luke S. Parige, 41, 853 Route 103A, New London, Jan. 16 in New London was withdrawn.
