NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending June 15:

A charge of operating a non-registered vehicle Dec. 24 in Newbury against Matthew Pettinato, 25, 173 Mulberry St., Claremont, was withdrawn.

Philip J. Demone, 33, 18 Dunbar Hill Road, Grantham, pleaded innocent to speeding 63 mph in a 40 mph zone Oct. 25, an administrative finding of guilty was handed down and he was fined $200.

A charge of speeding 55 mph in a 40 mph zone Sept. 4 in Croydon against Donald B. Nicholas, 76, Grantham, was withdrawn.

Ann M. Davis, 33, 42 Laurel St., No. 2, Newport, pleaded innocent to driving after revocation/suspension Aug. 31 in New London and the charge was placed on file without a finding.

Ryan C. Limero, 28, Elkins, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in Wilmot, was fined $500 and his license revoked for nine months.

Dorick J. Coulanges, 34, 35 Brunswick St., Apartment 1, Roxbury, Mass., pleaded guilty to negligent driving Feb. 14 in Grantham, was fined $500 and his right to operate in New Hampshire revoked for 30 days. A charge of reckless operation, driving at a speed greater than 100 mph, was withdrawn.

A charge of speeding 50 mph in a 30 mph zone Aug. 29 in Newbury against Amanda L. Leo, 32, 64 West Main St., No. 15, Bradford, was withdrawn. She was ordered to be of good behavior for six months and participate in a defensive driver course to be completed within 120 days.

Robert F. Naughton, 40, 149 Morse Hill Road, Newbury, pleaded no contest to speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph zone Oct. 10 in Sunapee, was found guilty and fined $93.

James Lopresti, 21, Newbury, pleaded no contest to speeding 40 mph in a 35 mph zone June 10 2018 in New London, was found guilty and fined $62.

A charge of non-inspection Jan. 1 in Newbury against Ethan G. Davis, 17, 99 Morrill Road, Andover, was withdrawn for six months on good behavior. He was ordered to participate in a defensive/safe driver course within 120 days.

A charge of speeding 50 mph in a 40 mph zone Aug. 30 in Newbury against Sarah K. Humphreys, 32, 1941 King Hill Road, New London, was withdrawn for six months on good behavior. She was ordered to participate in a defensive/safe driver course within 120 days.

Corina M. Labree, 26, 17 Ives Place, Claremont, pleaded no contest to speeding 50 mph in a 30 mph zone Dec. 19 in Newbury, was found guilty and fined $100.

Justin S. Butler, 28, 410 Mill Village Road, Goshen, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension Dec. 27 in Sunapee and was fined $500. He pleaded innocent to a child passenger restraint required and speeding 48 mph in a 35 mph zone. Both charges were placed on file for one year on good behavior. A charge of theft by unauthorized taking, 0-$1,000, was withdrawn. He pleaded guilty to breach of bail and was fined $1,000, suspended for two years on good behavior.

Sandra S. Merritt, 64, 190 Page Hill Road, Apartment 2, Newport, pleaded no contest to criminal trespass Sept. 21 in Newport, was found guilty and sentenced to 12 months in the Sullivan County House of Correction with all but 65 days deferred for one year and pretrial confinement credit for 65 days served. A charge of resisting arrest/detention was withdrawn.

Kimberly D. Childs, 46, 6 Loon Lake Campground Road, Croydon, pleaded no contest to driving while intoxicated, was found guilty, fined $500 and her license revoked for nine months.

William Duggan, 44, 18 Kanto Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to operating with a suspended vehicle registration, April 5 in Grantham, was fined $500 and his license revoked for 30 days. A charge of driving after revocation/suspension was withdrawn.
