NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending Feb 29:
George C. Catsam II, 21, 33 Whipple Road, Apartment 41, Newport, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief Feb. 24 in Newport and was fined $250, suspended. A restitution hearing has been scheduled for March 24.
Shawn P. Koloski, 50, 359 Bascom Road, Newport, pleaded innocent to bail jumping Feb. 11 in Newport and the case was placed on file without a finding.
Nicholas S. Kemp, 21, 9 Pine St., Newport, pleaded guilty to willful concealment and was sentenced to 12 months in the Sullivan County House of Corrections, suspended to Feb. 22, 2022. He pleaded guilty to bail jumping Oct. 29 in Newport and was sentenced to 60 days in the HOC.
Jason D. Menard, 32, 42 Blueberry Ridge Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence—impairment, Jan. 18 in Newport, was fined $500 and his license revoked for nine months.
Berton A. Hodgdon, 65, 117 Shad Road, Springfield, N.H., pleaded guilty to criminal threatening Sept. 1 in Springfield, was fined $50 and sentenced to 10 days in the HOC, suspended.
Crystal A. Gerber, 36, 101 Barton-Whitney Road, Newport, pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs Jan. 3 in Sunapee, was fined $750 and her license revoked for 18 months. Charges of operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs, subsequent offense, Jan. 30 in Sunapee, operating to the left of an unbroken painted line, and speeding 61 mph in a 50 mph zone were withdrawn.
Anthony Mihaly, 18, 621 Bradford Road, Newport, pleaded innocent to unlawful possession/intoxication while under the age of 21 in Newport and the charge was placed under conditional withdrawal for one year.
Keri L. Greenwood, 36, 168 North Main St., Apartment 1, Newport, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, aggravated, with a passenger under 16 in the vehicle Jan. 12 in Newport, was fined $750, sentenced to 17 days in the HOC with 12 days suspended and her license revoked for two years.
Stephen R. Vertigans, 18, 249 Pleasant St., Claremont, pleaded innocent to speeding 50 mph in a 30 mph zone in Newbury, was found guilty and fined $100.
Drew H. Goinsalvos, 18 West St., Apartment 1, Newport, pleaded innocent to criminal threatening—against a person, Dec. 20 in Newport, was found guilty and fined $500 with $250 suspended for one year on good behavior.
