NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending May 11:

Corey A. Cole, 28, Sunapee, failed to appear to answer a charge of simple assault March 24 in Sunapee and the case was defaulted to the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Erica L. Harris, 31, 188 Southgate Road, Newbury, failed to appear to answer charges of operating with a suspended registration of a vehicle, driving after suspension and speeding 41 mph in a 25 mph zone March 12 in New London and the cases were defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Zachary C. Hof, 39, 265 Prospect Hill Road, Sunapee, pleaded guilty to breach of bail conditions March 23 in Sunapee and was sentenced to 20 days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections with credit allowed for 20 days of pretrial confinement. He pleaded guilty to Breach of Bail conditions April 17 and was sentenced to 60 days in the HOC, suspended for two years on good behavior. Charges of breach of bail July 31 and domestic violence May 3 were withdrawn.

Megan AR Walker, 28, 39 Syndicate St., Newport, pleaded no contest to operating with a suspended registration of a vehicle, was found guilty and fined $250. She also pleaded no contest to driving after revocation, was found guilty and fined $250, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Kenneth T. Diley Jr., 37, 222 Quaker City Road, Unity, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated March 23, was fined $500 and his licensed revoked for nine months.

Jeremy P. Bogle, 22, 180 Meadowbrook Road, Weston, Mass., pleaded guilty to an amended charge of speeding 90 mph on Interstate 89 in Grantham and was fined $350. He was originally charged with reckless operation, speeding greater than 100 mph.

Paige A. Greehalgh, 16, 349 Cross Road, Goshen, pleaded innocent to conduct after an accident Dec. 11 and the charge was placed on file without a finding.

Daniel Brown, 22, 8 Edgewood Park, Claremont, pleaded guilty to acts prohibited and was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC, suspended on good behavior for two years. He was also fined $350, suspended.

Jeremia A. Kemp, 19, 28 South Hill Road, Lempster, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property Nov. 16 in Lempster and was sentenced to 12 months in the HOC with all but 21 days suspended. He was given credit for 21 days of pretrial confinement. A charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer was withdrawn.

Nickolas J. Hayes, 19, 77 Cotton Road, Sunapee, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession and intoxication while under the age of 21 March 27 in Sunapee and was fined $300.

Alexander A. Milewski, 25, 6 Badger Road, Goshen, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with a suspended registration Feb. 23 in Sunapee and was fined $250. He pleaded guilty to driving after revocation or suspension and was fined $250. Charges of open container and speeding 49 mph in a 25 mph zone were withdrawn.

Richard F. Slack, 56, 17A School St., Claremont, pleaded guilty to speeding 46 mph in a 30 mph zone June 29 in Newbury and was fined $100.

Charges of driving after revocation or suspension and registration required Jan. 10 in Sunapee against Nathan T. Lynch, 37, 1421 New Hampshire Route 120, Cornish were withdrawn.
