NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit court during the week ending Nov. 2:

Brian A. Robie, 33, 72 Pleasant St., Claremont, failed to appear to answer two charges. They included bail jumping March 19 in Newport; willful concealment, Sept. 17 at Shaw’s Supermarket, Newport, removing 26 different items of merchandise valued at $196.58. A bench warrant for his arrest was issued through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles on both charges.

Timothy M. Grant, 42, 3 Messer Road, Sunapee, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with a suspended registration Feb. 28 in Sunapee and was fined $25. He pleaded guilty to driving without giving proof of financial responsibility and was fined $1,000, suspended for one year. He pleaded guilty to driving or operating under the influence of liquor or drugs, was fined $750 and his license revoked for 18 months.

Cea M. Drew, 42, 297 Unity Road, Newport, failed to appear to answer a charge of driving after revocation/suspension Aug. 14 in Newport and her case was defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Nickolas S. Kemp, 21, 9 Pine St., Newport, failed to appear to answer a charge of willful concealment on Aug. 22 at Ocean State Job Lots in Newport. He was charged with removing a Wentzel “dragonfly” camping tent valued at $129.99 from the store. The case was defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Howard G. Davis, 67, 5 Campground Road, Wilmot, pleaded no contest to negligent driving Aug. 24 in Newbury, was found guilty and fined$500.

Julie Morse, 31,43 West Terrace St., Apartment B, Claremont, failed to appear to answer a charge of driving after revocation/suspension Aug. 15 in Newport and her case was defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Joshua G. Ioannou, 31, 592 Old Claremont Road, Charlestown, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest/detention Aug. 10 in Newport and was sentenced to 365 days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections with 335 days suspended to Oct. 29, 2021. He pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to 17 days in the HOC with 12 days suspended for two years. He was fined $750 and his license was revoked for two years. An open container charge was withdrawn.

Gabriel Camilo Baptiste, 23 Court St., Apartment 2, Newport, pleaded guilty to a charge of controlled drugs: premises where drugs are kept, more than three-quarters of an ounce of marijuana April 19 in Newport. He was fined $350.

Dylan Morsey, 20, 66 Myrtle St., Apt. 1, Claremont, pleaded guilty resisting arrest/detention July 13 in Newport and was fined $250 suspended for one year. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $250.

James Jones, 33, 165 South Main St., Newport, pleaded guilty to operating with an expired license for 12 months Aug. 30 in Newport and was fined $200.

Lindsey A. McNeel, 33, 122 Glidden Road, Croydon, pleaded guilty to operating without a valid license July 9 in Newport and was fined $200.

Jessica Lescord, 32 104 Winter St., Newport, pleaded guilty to conduct after an accident July 5 in Newport and was fined $250.

Briar TR Rose, 20, 123 Maple St., Newport, pleaded no contest to a charge of a dog being a menace, nuisance or vicious, Aug. 12 in Newport, was found guilty and fined $100.

Charles D. Tatro III, 35, 121 Bascom Road, Newport, failed to appear to answer a charge of bail jumping Aug. 20 in Newport and the case was defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles. He was also charged with theft by unauthorized taking at Circle K in Newport on Sept. 5, 2018, Eddy’s and Haagen-Dazs ice cream valued at $12.78 and that case was defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles. A second charge of bail jumping May 21 in Newport and resisting arrest/detention May 8 in Newport were also defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

A charge of domestic violence Jan. 16 in Newport against Judy L. Wheeler, 15 Summer St., Newport was withdrawn. She pleaded guilty to simple assault Jan. 16 at Newport High School and was sentenced to 30 days in the HOC, suspended.

Shantri J. Walsh, 45, 53 Chestnut St., Apartment 2, Claremont, pleaded innocent to driving or operating under the influence of drugs or liquor June 8 in Newport, was found guilty, fined $500 and Walsh’s license was revoked for 12 months.

A charge of domestic violence Aug. 17 in Newbury against Stewart J. Brown, 73, 27 Nutting Road, Sunapee, was amended to simple assault to which he pleaded no contest, was found guilty and fined $250.

A charge of criminal threatening against Ryan J. Russell, 34, 89 Main St., Apartment 5, New London, was withdrawn.

Nicholas A. Paire, 27, 155 North Main St., Newport, pleaded guilty to operating without a valid license Aug. 14 in Newport and was fined $200.

A charge of domestic violence against Kyle K. Plamondon, 45, 189 South Road, Newbury, Aug. 29 in Newbury was placed on file without a finding for one year on the condition of good behavior.

Elizabeth W. Johnson, 35, 153 Squires Lane, New London, pleaded guilty to breach of bail conditions Nov. 27 in New London and was sentenced to 45 days in the HOC, suspended for one year. She pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $1,000 suspended for one year on good behavior.
