NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending Oct. 12, 2019:

Zachary Guerin, 18, 44 Summer St., Newport, failed to appear to answer three charges; simple assault/mutual combat, Aug. 26 in Newport, defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles; two counts of domestic violence (simple assault), March 30, and resisting arrest/detention July 19, all in Newport.

Damien Sevene, 141 Hanover St., Claremont, failed to appear to answer two charges; disobeying an officer Jan. 5 in Newport, defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles, and driving after suspension/revocation.

Christopher Nix, 28, 12 Cross St., Newport, pleaded guilty to speeding 97 mph in a 65 mph zone Aug. 31 in Grantham and was fined $500 , suspended for two years on good behavior including any motor vehicle violations.

Christopher Milowski, 48, 49 Ledge Road, Croydon, pleaded guilty to operating without a valid license July 3 in Croydon and was fined $50.

Ashley Pratt, 39, 1020 Langdon Road, Charlestown, pleaded guilty of conspiracy to commit delivery of articles prohibited, a tobacco product, to the Sullivan County House of Corrections May 26 in Unity. She was sentenced to 90 days in the HOC, all suspended.

Jonathan J. Tremblay, 30, 151 Rand Pond Road, Goshen, pleaded guilty to three counts of having dogs as a menace, a nuisance or vicious and was fined $1,000 on each charge, suspended for two years.

Morgan Galluzzo, 24, 443 Mountain Road, New London, pleaded no contest to reckless operation Aug. 2 in Sunapee, was found guilty and fined $500. A charge of speeding 95 mph in a 65 mph zone Aug. 2 in Sunapee was withdraw.

Jacob M. Valley, 24, 146 Laurel St., Newport, pleaded innocent to speeding 47 mph in a 25 mph zone Jan. 30 in Sunapee and was found innocent.

Isreal L. Soto Jr., 26, 33 Whipple Road, Apartment 7, Newport, pleaded no contest to simple assault, physical contact, July 5 in Newport, was found guilty and fined $250, suspended.

Sally S. Wilkins, 75, 40 Seasons, New London, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, Sept. 7 in Wilmot, was fined $500 and her license revoked for nine months.

Michael J. Demers, 47, 62 Bonmark Drive, Claremont, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs Aug. 23 in Sunapee, was fined $1,000 and his license was revoked for 18 months. Demars will be able to have early restoration of his license conditioned upon alcohol ignition interlock installation for the remaining period of 18 months.

Frank Heynig II, 28, 103 County Farm Road, Unity, was charged with delivery of articles prohibited to the Sullivan County House of Corrections, chewing tobacco; having in his possession while a prisoner at the HOC. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 month at the HOC with all but 60 days suspended for two years.
