NEWPORT — The following cases were heard in Newport Circuit Court during the week ending Sept. 14:

Haley R. Koloski, 21, 25 Mill Village Road, Goshen, pleaded guilty to simple assault; physical contact, Aug. 31 in Goshen and was sentenced to 30 days in the Sullivan County House of Corrections, suspended. A second simple assault charge was withdrawn.

Valerie Ellsey, 44, 220 South Main St., Newport, pleaded guilty to driving after revocation/suspension July 8 in Newport, was fined $500 and sentenced to 30 days in the HOC, suspended for one year on good behavior. A charge of operating without a valid license was withdrawn.

Colin Torrey, 19, 481 Hackett Swamp Road, Charlestown, pleased guilty to reckless operation July 2, 2017 in Newport, speeding 65 mph in a 30 mph zone, was fined $500 and his license revoked for 60 days. Torrey pleased guilty to operating without a valid license and was fined $250, suspended for one year on good behavior.

Marquise Johnson, 28, Boston, failed to appear to answer a charge of reckless operation, speeding 101 mph on Interstate 89 July 4 in New London, and operating without a valid license. A bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

Joseph Paquette, 29, 132 Reeds Mill Road, Croydon, failed to appear to answer two counts of rabies vaccination required for his dogs and licensing of his dogs May 1 in Croydon and the charges were defaulted through the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles.

Lydia AB Sarevitz, 51, 18 Overlook at Indian Cave, Sunapee, pleaded no contest to driving or operating under the influence of drugs or liquor July 3 in Sunapee, was found guilty, fined $500 and her license was revoked for nine months. A charge of transportation of alcoholic beverages was withdrawn.

Julie Morse, 31, 43 West Terrace St., Claremont, pleaded guilty to driving after suspension July 13 in Newport and was fined $250, suspended for one year on good behavior.

A charge of breach of bail conditions Aug. 11 in Lempster against Sara Ash, 37, 106 School Road, Lempster, was withdrawn.

Kimberly Lynn Tanguay, 51, 2890 Main St., Apartment 4, Springfield, pleaded guilty to simple assault, physical contact, May 17 in Springfield and was sentenced to 30 days in the HOC, suspended.

A charge of non-inspection Oct. 27 in Newport against Robert R. Smith, 41, 296 Lempster St., Lempster, was withdrawn.

Kenneth Kuhns, 55, 336 Cash St., Croydon, pleaded guilty to a charge of rabies vaccination required for a dog May 1 in Croydon and was fined $100. He pleaded guilty to licensing of a dog and was fined $100, suspended.

Zachary R. Swinerton, 22, 39 Bailey Road, South Sutton, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana over three-fourths of an ounce Aug. 5 in New London and was fined $350. Charges of transportation of drugs in a motor vehicle and driving after revocation/suspension were withdrawn.

Mallen Mary Bischoff, San Francisco, pleaded guilty to reckless operation, speeding 107 mph on Interstate 89 in New London Aug. 28 and was fined $500. It was recommended her privilege to operate a vehicle in New Hampshire be revoked for 60 days.
