CORNISH — Seven contestants will compete to be crowned Queen of the Cornish Fair Feb. 16-18.

The King and Queen Pageant will be held from 8-9:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16. The Prince and Princess youngsters will perform from 7:30-8 p.m. Both events will be held at the Whelen Pavilion.

The deadline for contestants to participate in both the Prince and Princess shows is Friday, Aug. 9.

The queen contestants are Samantha Erksine, Ascutney; Angel Branch, Goshen; Emily Guyett, Newport; Serenity Gorecki, Claremont; Mercedes Garrow, Windsor; Skye Robicheau, Plainfield and Olivia Barcelou, Claremont.

The Queen’s escort, Kaleb Smith, will be crowned King.

Prince contestants to date include Lucian Smith and Holden Tallman, both from Claremont.

Princess contestants include Emerson Thibeault, Claremont; Emily Smith, Claremont; Hailey Dewey, Lempster; Candle Hyde, Windsor; Haley Davis, Newport; Taylor Davis, Newport; Fallon Meyer, West Lebanon; Gabriella Rheaume, Claremont, and Annabelle Torres, Claremont.

Last year’s Queen was Taelor MacDonald of Claremont; King was Noah Abbott, Claremont; Prince, Caleb Hopps, Sutton and last year’s princess, Ashlynn Smith, Claremont.

Nicole Galloway will serve as Director of the Pageant and Amanda Chase will be Assistant Director.
