NEWPORT — Newport has another 100-match winner in its wrestling program.

Junior Josh Sharron made it to the century level with a victory on Wednesday, Jan. 29th against Campbell. With the win he became the sixth Newport wrestler to reach that plateau.

Sharron follows Gavin Lovely who reached the 100 mark last year as a senior. Sharron’s brother, Tyler, was Newport’s fourth wrestler to reach the 100 mark.

Coaching the Tigers this season is Zakk Sharon, Josh’s older brother.
