PELHAM — Three Newport wrestlers captured championships at Saturday’s NHIAA Division III tournament a Pelham High School.

Josh Sharron took the 138 pound title, going 3-0 with three pins. Anson Ritondo was No. 1 in the 106-pound event, also 3-0 with three pins.

Marius Edwards took top honors in the 160-pound class in an exciting come-from-behind victory. Edwards was trailing 5-1when he came up with a five-point move with only 10 seconds remaining in the match to score the victory, 6-5. Mike Wilkinson placed fourth in the 145-pound class.
