SPRINGFIELD, Vt. — Gallery at the VAULT is pleased to present “Heartfelt Art” a show of artwork by residents of Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center from July 10 to Aug. 7.
On display is a collection of paintings, drawings, and mixed media pieces. Although struggling with an array of cognitive and physiological disorders, these remarkable individuals are able to express themselves through color, line, form, and value. Putting together meaningful images and scenes in the present has helped them not only to cope with the limitations of their situation, but also provide catharsis and validation for their innermost dreams, ideas, feelings, and memories. It is amazing what they can create.
