Springfield Residents Hold Peaceful Protest For Racial Justice

More than 500 people gathered in downtown Springfield, Vt., on Friday, June 5, 2020, for a series of speeches given as part of a peaceful protest to bring attention to racial justice after the death of George Floyd. Police presence was moderate with officers sectioning off the People’s Bank parking lot for the rally and escorting protesters across the busy streets of traffic.
