MANCHESTER — Lights shined brightly on the business community’s brightest leaders during NH Business Review’s 17th annual Business Excellence Awards ceremony last week. The 2019 Business Excellence Awards recognized business owners and operators for their imagination, industriousness, innovation and achievements on October 3 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord. Recipients included leaders from Easterseals New Hampshire, EnviroVantage, SoClean, NEMO Equipment and more.

“The number and quality of the submissions we received this year speaks volumes of the impressive leaders New Hampshire is able to claim as its own,” said Jeff Feingold, editor of NH Business Review. “The impact of each of these individuals goes well beyond the walls of their offices. We commend each recipient on the dedication and commitment it took to achieve such impressive results within a multitude of industries.”

Recipients include Bart Fromuth, COO of Freedom Energy Logistics, who launched a virtual net metering initiative to increase renewable energy, while helping local businesses thrive economically; Kristin Mendoza of Bernstein Shur, who championed a flat-fee billing model within the legal community, making legal services accessible to everyone; Tammy Murray, who managed more than 760 percent growth in employees and a 14,000 percent increase in budget during her 18-year tenure with NAMI New Hampshire; and Brian Kelley, General Manager of Manchester Country Club, whose leadership led to a 67-point increase in membership satisfaction in just five years.
