Elaine Joyce Brewer UNITY — Elaine Joyce Brewer, 72, of Summerfield, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday (July 30, 2019) at her daughter’s home in Unity. She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Claremont on Aug. 16, 1946, the second daughter of Basil and Katherine (Burbee) Neale. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Stevens High School in 1964. She married the love of her life, Jon Brewer, on Nov. 6, 1964. She worked for the Eagle Times, Claremont, and Mettler’s on St. Armand's Circle, Sarasota, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband Jon Brewer; four daughters, Laurie Cook of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Ann Dewey and husband Michael of Unity, Karen Bell and husband Lyman of Sarasota, and Katherine "Katie" Reveglia of Venice, Florida; two grandchildren, Rachel and Jeremy Dewey of Unity; four sisters, Joan Coolidge, Barbara Husack and husband John of Claremont, Mary Stephens and husband Richard Rau of Bluffton, South Carolina, and Martha Maurer and husband Robert of Lebanon; several nieces, nephews and cousins in the U.S., London and Ireland. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew and great-niece. A service will be held at Roy Funeral Home, 93 Sullivan St., Claremont, on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Roy Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 2, 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Claremont Soup Kitchen, P.O.
