Margaret E. Clark UNITY — Margaret E. Clark passed away on May 8, 2020, at her home in Unity at the age of 93, just a few days before her 94th birthday. Margaret was born at home in Lempster, New Hampshire, to Ma and Pa Hartwell on May 15, 1926. Margaret graduated from Towle School in Newport. She worked for the Guernsey Cattle Co. in Peterborough where she was in charge of registering "baby cows." Margaret worked for The Grange Insurance Co. in Keene, Sylvania in Hillsboro and the Lempster Post Office where she retired as postmaster in 1992. She then worked as deputy town clerk in Unity. She was also a member of Silver Mountain Grange for many years. Margaret was predeceased by her brothers, Hubert Jr., Richard L. and Chester L. Hartwell. Margaret is survived by her partner of 57 years, Ralph Reed; her son, Ronald Clark and wife Phyllis of Lempster; grandson, Troy Clark and wife Missy of Lowville, New York, granddaughter, Beth Clark-Moulton and husband Joseph of Lempster; great-grandsons, Matthew and Samuel Clark of New York, great-granddaughters, Sydney and McKenzie French of Lempster; nieces, Eleanor Pinkey and Elizabeth Heath, and nephews, Hubert Hartwell III and Roger Hartwell. A graveside service will be held in the Unity Center Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Lempster Fire Fighters Association, P.O.
