Ronald G. Merrill CLAREMONT — Ronald G. Merrill, 70, passed away Feb. 15, 2020, at Elmwood Center in Claremont, New Hampshire. He was born on Dec. 9, 1949, the son Stanley T. Merrill and Alice Holden Merrill and lived in Charlestown, New Hampshire, until the age of 40, then moved to Claremont where he lived the rest of his life: first at Sugar River Mills and recently moved to Elm Wood Center where he had been for six months. As a young man, he loved to hunt, fish and play softball on his family team. Ron loved to deer hunt and was very proud of getting the biggest deer anyone in the family had ever gotten. It was a massive 8-point buck weighting 237 pounds. His family includes two brothers, Gary W. Merrilll Sr. and wife Sandra, Daniel D. Merrill and wife Midge; his sister, Sandra Merrill Hosking and husband John; sister-in-law, Arlene Merrill; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Stanley T. Merrill Jr.; and sister-in-law, Brenda. Graveside service will be held in the spring in the Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, New Hampshire.
