As a native and former longtime resident of Sullivan County, I would like to recommend Sue Prentiss who is running to represent District No. 5 in the New Hampshire Senate in November’s election.

I've had the privilege of working with Sue in the emergency medical services (EMS) field for more than 20 years. In that time I have found Sue to be smart, hard-working and a tireless advocate for the “little guy.” When Sue was the EMS bureau chief she always considered, and fought for, the services and providers who cared for people in the rural and far northern parts of the state. Sue’s leadership of our state’s first responders and her successful efforts to enhance EMS care have proven her worth.

As a city counselor representing West Lebanon, where I now call home, Sue strenuously and effectively made sure that our community’s unique needs were addressed. I know that she will represent our part of the state well, and champion our needs.

I am not a person who is comfortable with or particularly enjoys politics, but I am so impressed by Sue's capabilities that I am glad to stand up and count myself as one of her supporters. I hope you will take a look at everything she brings to the table and consider supporting her as well.
