Cardinals grab a win in the rain, 35-6

The Cardinals’ Owen Taylor makes a cut behind his blockers into the end zone for one of his two running TDs on the night. After a Cardinal turnover on their first play from scrimmage, it was all Stevens after that on Friday as Owen Taylor had a career game in the rain under the lights. After the Wildcats’ Izaak Westover plowed in from six yards out, Taylor and the Cardinals took over the game. The senior signal caller accounted for 4 Cardinal scores with two through the air and two on the ground. Clayton Wadsworth hauled in a 30-yard TD and JJ Tursky’s grab for a 24-yard TD from Taylor while he had touchdown runs of 12 and two yards on the night. Hunter Christian’s 17-yard scamper along the sidelines capped the scoring on the night as Stevens grabbed their first win of the season, 35-6.
