Sunapee softball improves to 3-0 on season

Sara Petrin’s double with bases loaded plated three runners as Sunapee pushed across seven runs in the first inning. The Lakers’ Anah Durkee was spotted to an early lead and she pitched a solid game as Sunapee improved to 3-0 on the young season. Sara Petrin was the offensive engine as she belted out two hits and had four RBIs. Molly Reed went 2-4 with an RBI, scored three times, and made a great diving catch from her short stop position. Krista Miner finished with a two-hit, one-RBI day while Durkee pitched the first three innings striking out four and scattering four hits before giving way to Reed who pitched the final two innings.
